2007 Season - Week 15

Hall of Fame Owners Wing

It’s Mr & Mrs in the Owners Wing so move in a double bed as Chief gets 6 votes and becomes the second member joining the inaugural member Cheryl. Marcus was the runner-up with 3 nominations while five other owners (Andy H, Dave G, David S, Mark & Wayne) also received considerations. H Watch Despite a disappointing week with just 19 points H became the single season record holder as he passed Johnny & Wayne’s mark of 574 and now stands on 591 with two weeks to go. As the weather slows his dynamic duo he’s now on pace for 670 points. The Great Escape Marcus has made a small move away from the drop zone and is now 15 points above the relegation line. However Dave G is currently only safe by 1 point from Chief with John just 8 points from safety. It’s all coming down to the wire. Injured Reserve 2 players have been put on IR and so can be replaced. Ron can replace TE Jeremy Shockey and Chief can replace Roy Williams. Changes in by 11pm Thursday please. BUMS Meal 3 members of the BUMS will be off to Arizona to cover the Superbowl for BBC Television so we thought it would be good to meet up before they go. Johnny has suggested a restaurant in Poland Street, London W1 and the proposed date is Friday evening January 18th. Bodeans is an American BBQ style restaurant. Let me know if you are interested in going and we’ll book a table. BUMS on Seats Amazingly Christmas has got in the way of the end of the season again, so we are not meeting next week at all. The newsletter will come out next Friday (December 28th). With no game on Thursday night we will be meeting at HQ from 4pm on Sunday 30th to firstly see the Saturday Night game as the NY Giants host New England in a game that could see them go 16-0, followed at 6pm by Sky’s doubleheader which may include Tennessee @ Indianapolis, Jacksonville @ Houston & Dallas @ Washington. That will leave one game to go which the NFL will select after this weekends games. Then we are into the post season. So may I wish you a Very Merry Christmas.
